My name is Chandra, and I've proudly called the Fox Valley region home for the last two decades. I decided to start my own micro event planning business, Enchanted Picnics, because my husband Patrick and I struggled to find something different to do on our date nights. Over the last 20 years in the Valley, we've visited all the cool places, did all the fun activities, attended all the festivals, ate at all the best restaurants, and drank at all the cool bars. Despite exploring all the usual spots and activities, we longed for something different. Now what?

Enchanted Picnics was born out of our love for exploring new things, my knack for hosting parties, and an intrinsic desire to infuse magic into every gathering. By meticulously curating each element of these smaller-scale events, from location to decor, I sought to fulfill a need for novelty and enchantment among individuals like us, craving a departure from the ordinary and into the extraordinary.
